Bethune-Cookman opens its 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference schedule Friday when the Wildcats host Florida A&M at 6 p.m. in Historic Moore Gym.
Admission is free.
The Wildcats (0-12) are in their second season in the SWAC, compiling a 6-10 mark their opening campaign. Two of those losses were to Florida A&M (3-11), who won the conference tournament.
B-CU will have five home SWAC matches this season.
LAST TIME OUT: B-CU dropped matches to Tennessee State, Belmont and North Alabama at the Tiger Invitational to conclude non-conference play. Kytal Price garnered all-tournament honors.
NOTES:
· Jasmine Moore is seventh in the SWAC in kills per ser (2.64)
· Jaedyn Newman is fifth in service aces (.32)
· Price and Alleah Dallas are 1-2 in blocks (1.18 and 1.02, respectively)
· Dallas now has 225 career blocks and is currently sixth on the all-time blocks list. She needs 26 to pass Delicia Pierre for fifth.
