Kytal Price had 13 kills in Bethune-Cookman’s 3-1 (25-17,25-22,20-25,25-16) Southwestern Athletic Conference loss to Jackson State Sunday.

Mecca Freeman added nine kills and Jasmine Moore eight as the Wildcats (4-16 overall, 4-4 SWAC) had their four match winning streak snapped.

Niara Hightower posted seven blocks, while Adriana Marrero finished with 16 digs.

The Wildcats conclude the first half of their SWAC schedule in sixth place. The top eight teams make the conference tournament.

B-CU travels to Florida A&M Friday.
