Bethune-Cookman University’s women’s golf team will close out its 2025-26 season at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Golf Championships, which begin on April 13 in Birmingham, Alabama.

The event is set to take place over three days at the Robert Trent Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley. The course will play as a par 72 with a total yardage of 6,148. Live scoring for the tournament will be available through SCORECARD by clippd and updates can be found on BCUAthletics.com/Stats.

Oxmoor Valley is located minutes from downtown Birmingham and was built on former mining land owned by U.S. Steel. The facility features scenic forests, creeks, and challenging elevation changes throughout its Ridge and Valley courses. The Ridge course is known for its elevation changes and tree cover, while the recently renovated Valley course includes new tees, bunkers, TifEagle greens, and redesigned holes.

Bethune-Cookman enters the championship after finishing fifth out of five teams at the Houston Lake Invitational on March 30 at Houston Lake Country Club. Junior Lathika Krishna led Bethune-Cookman during that event with a score of 234 (+18), finishing in sixteenth place individually.

This year’s SWAC Championship field includes Alabama State, Prairie View A&M, Southern (La.), Texas Southern, and Bethune-Cookman. Last year, Bethune-Cookman finished third behind champion Alabama State and runner-up Southern.
