Charge-Free Period to be Eliminated at Chargepoint Station

0Comments

Do you use the electric vehicle charging station at the Shores Community Center?

The City of Daytona Beach Shores wants to make everyone aware the initial 4-hour charge-free period for the Chargepoint station will soon be eliminated, and users will be charged for the full charging time.

This change will take effect August 1, 2022, OR when the new Evolution EV Fast Charging stations are activated – whichever occurs first. The supplier is awaiting equipment delivery to finalize installation of the new charging stations. Once they are operational, the existing Chargepoint station will be removed.
