The City of Port Orange is holding a Town Hall Thursday, January 19 at 7:00 p.m. at its Lakeside Community Center to discuss upcoming City projects and receive feedback from residents.

Residents will have the opportunity to learn about the Bristol Group’s Riverwalk project. The 10 acre, mixed-used development along the Halifax River will bring in shops, restaurants, 450 multi-family units mixed in with public space.

People can also see proposed traffic improvements scheduled to occur along Dunlawton Avenue and its major intersections, discover new software to make the online permitting process for businesses and residents easier and updates from the City’s police and fire departments on new tools and equipment.

“I am very much looking forward to the conversations we have every year at the Town Hall with our residents and business people. We have a lot of information to share, and we will all be there to listen as well. It should be a fun, informative, and productive evening,” said City of Port Orange Mayor Don Burnette.

Residents can hear from the different departments within the City and Council and residents are encouraged to give their feedback on the upcoming projects and developments happening in Port Orange.

The Lakeside Community Center is located at 1999 City Center Circle, Port Orange, Fl, 32129.
