City of Ormond Beach recently issued the following announcement.

Starting on Monday, March 14, 2022, Construction at Sanchez Park will begin, as part of the 2022 Shell Parking Lot Restoration Project. Work will be performed to restore the shell parking lots and shell loop road to good driving conditions. During construction the park will remain open but may at times have reduced amenities, in particular access to the boat ramp and parking may be limited. 

For your safety we please ask that you avoid approaching any work area or heavy equipment during construction. As soon as work can be completed any impacted amenities will be restored.
