Falcons Take Win Versus Warner Royals 65-50

Daytona State was led by Sophomore Nashani Gilbert in Monday night’s victory vs. Warner University 65-5-.  Gilbert was 6-for-15 from the field, 9-for-12 from the free throw line, seven rebounds, four steals, and one block with 21 points.

The Falcons kept up the defensive pressure in forcing 31 Royals turnovers. Freshman Forward Rylan Moffit finished with 12 points, along with eight rebounds and Sophomore Guard Danea Mackey added 10 points in the contest.

The Falcons return to “The Nest” Friday and Saturday for the JUCO Shootout to take on Miami-Dade College on December 2nd at 6:00 p.m. and Gulf Coast State College Saturday, December 3rd at 4:00 p.m.
