Former New Smyrna Beach High School standout and current Benedict Tigers player, Bryant Siravo will compete in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the first seeded Albany State Golden Rams.
The first game is on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m.
Sofia Vallejos-Coleman and Michael Rodriguez were named Bethune-Cookman’s Wildcats of the Week for April 20-26. The weekly award honors student-athletes excelling in sports performance as well as academics and community service.
Florida A&M secured a narrow win over Bethune-Cookman after coming back late in Saturday’s high-scoring baseball game. Andrey Martinez hit his fiftieth career home run as both teams traded leads throughout nine innings.
These former East Volusia County area high school standouts are scheduled to compete the week starting Monday, April 27.
