Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of five individuals to the Northwest Florida State College District Board of Trustees. The appointees include Cory Fosdyck, Kristen “Rhea” Goff, Megan Harrison, Donald Litke, and Thomas “Rudy” Wright. These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

Cory Fosdyck, a Senior Vice President and Senior Resident Director for Merrill Lynch, brings a wealth of experience to the board. Fosdyck is actively involved in his community, serving as a Committee Chairman for the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and a board member for the Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital. He is also the former Chairman of the Walton County Chamber of Commerce. Fosdyck holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration from Western Illinois University.

Kristen “Rhea” Goff, the Chief Administrative Officer and a Senior Vice President of the St. Joe Company, is another valuable addition to the board. Goff is the Vice Chair of Florida’s Great Northwest Foundation and a member of the South Walton High School Business and Culinary Advisory Board. She earned her associate degree from Northwest Florida State College and her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.

Megan Harrison, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Walton County Chamber of Commerce, brings her extensive knowledge of the community to the board. Harrison is actively involved in various organizations, serving as a board member for the Walton County Economic Development Alliance and the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Northwest Florida Region. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.

Donald Litke, a veteran of the United States Air Force with the rank of Major General, is a distinguished member of the board. Litke is the Founder of Joyful Place Memory Care Ministry and a member of the Military Officers Association of America. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Colorado State University and his master’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University.

Thomas “Rudy” Wright, also a veteran of the United States Air Force with the rank of Major General, brings his extensive military experience to the board. Wright previously served as a Deputy Chief of Staff of Operations for the United States Air Force at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Headquarters in Belgium and received the Bronze Star for his service. He holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Florida State University and a master’s degree from National Defense University.

Governor Ron DeSantis has made these appointments with the aim of further strengthening the Northwest Florida State College District Board of Trustees. The individuals selected bring a diverse range of experiences and expertise to the table. Their confirmation by the Florida Senate will solidify their roles in shaping the future of the college district.
