Madison Holden from Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) Women’s Basketball and Doctor Bradley from B-CU Men’s Basketball have been named Wildcats of the Week for January 19-25.
Holden delivered a strong performance during the Wildcats’ recent game against Jackson State. The junior guard scored 20 points, setting a new season-high and leading her team by nine points. In the first half, she contributed eight of B-CU’s total 15 points. She also set season-highs in field goal attempts and makes, with 14 and nine respectively.
Doctor Bradley stood out in Moore Gymnasium during a matchup for first place against SWAC rival Jackson State, which was broadcast on ESPNU. He recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Bradley also contributed defensively with five steals and two blocks, achieving season-highs in all major statistical categories.
The Wildcats of the Week program recognizes outstanding athletes across various sports at B-CU throughout the academic year. The recognition is part of an ongoing effort to highlight athletic achievement within the university community.
