Rescission of Precautionary Boil Water Notice

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice that was issued on July 11, 2022 for Orange City Utilities is hereby rescinded.

As required by Volusia County Health Department, a certified laboratory has bacteriologically tested the quality of water within the distribution system and the results indicate that the water is safe for consumption.

City staff will deliver a “Rescission Boil Water ” door hanger to those customers affected by the loss of pressure in the distribution system while repairing a 2” water main.

If additional information is needed, please call Orange City Utilities at (386) 775-5444 between the hours of 8:00 am. – 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday.
