City of Deltona recently issued the following announcement.

Resident input is important

The City of Deltona is asking residents to take part in updating the City Charter.  The Charter Review Committee will be meeting Tuesday January 25th, starting at 6:00pm, in the Commission Chambers at City Hall.

The Committee has been meeting at least monthly since July 2021 and the final meeting is scheduled for February 8th.

The City Charter undergoes a thorough evaluation every ten years, and this is the residents’ opportunity to provide input to the process. Their feedback to the Committee is important, as the proposed revisions to the City Charter are then sent to the City Commission for approval.
