City of New Smyrna Beach recently issued the following announcement.

Brace yourself for full rules amatuer Muay Thai fighting action when the Siam Fight League bursts into the Brannon Center on Sunday, March 27 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as “Thai boxing,” is a martial art and combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. The discipline is known as the “art of eight limbs,” as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins.
