Solid Waste Pick up during the Hurricane

Announcement from Solid Waste

With recent questions regarding trash, we ask that all residents secure their trash and debris during the tropical storm/hurricane. Once the storm passes, you may contact the Solid Waste Division at 386-878-8573 for an estimated pick-up time.

The trash pick up today (September 27), will be operating as normally scheduled. As it stands, Solid Waste intends to continue with normal pickup on Wednesday, September 28 unless the storm worsens. The best scenario is to make sure the trash is secure if the storm comes to us as a “Hurricane”. If it drops to a “Tropical Storm”, they will be out tomorrow but expect delays due to the heavy rain. If Solid Waste advises us different, we will inform the public immediately.
