City of Deltona issued the following announcement.
City of Deltona Mayor Heidi Herzberg has been appointed to serve as Vice-Chair to the Florida League of Cities’ “Utilities, Natural Resources & Public Works” Committee, by the organization President Tony Ortiz.
Mayor Herzberg was named to the position on Aug. 21, by Ortiz, an Orlando City Commissioner.
Her responsibilities will include working with other committee members to discuss issues facing Florida’s cities that will come before the legislature during the 2021 session. Those results will provide policy direction for the Florida League of Cities’ legislative efforts.
