City of New Smyrna Beach issued the following announcement on Aug. 9.
Public restrooms will be half capacity at Flagler Avenue Boardwalk, 27th Avenue Beachfront Park, and the Coronado Civic Center shuffleboard courts as Maintenance Operations teams refinish their floors with a new, durable epoxy coating from Tuesday, Aug. 10 through Friday, Aug. 13. Following the weekend, the remaining half of restrooms will close on Monday, Aug. 16 until work is complete.
