Public comments accepted for utility-related grant applications

1

City of Daytona Beach issued the following announcement on Aug. 31.

The city is accepting public comments on three utility-related grant applications. The source of funding for these grant applications is HUD’s newly created Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funding. This funding is available to the city for disaster mitigation. The program is designed to provide funding opportunities for local governments to develop large-scale mitigation activities that enable us to better withstand future disasters.
