Join us for the 2022 Mayor's Health & Fitness Challenge!

City of Ormond Beach recently issued the following announcement.

Registration is open from December 1st to January 5th at the Leisure Services Office:

Fri 7:30 am- 3:00 pm 

All 2020 participants will not be charged for the 2022 challenge.

The 2022 Mayor’s Health & Fitness Challenge is a three-month citywide challenge that is open to city employees and city residents 

(proof of residency within incorporated Ormond Beach required).  

Individual - $35

Family - $70

(Up to three children, 18 & under)

 It is a 12 week challenge and includes Perks & Wellness Partners, Business Sponsors and Lunch & Learns with Facts & Snacks.

 Kick Off and Weigh-In is on Saturday, January 8th beginning at 9:am until 12:00pm.

The final Weigh-Out is on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

 On opening day, challengers will be “weighed” in and on the last day of the challenge, will be “weighed” out. The top three winners in each category will be determined by the overall reduction in BMI (body mass index). Our three categories consist of Men, Women and *Children (17 and under). In these categories they will be competing for both cash and prizes. 

All participants have access to a wide variety of programs and classes which include but are not limited to, biking, bowling, cooking & nutrition, fitness trail hikes, individual & group training, tennis, yoga, walks and more.  We will also be adding additional perks and wellness partners throughout the challenge.

In addition, they have access to a discount code for a wearable device, such as a Fitbit.
