City of Daytona Beach Shores recently issued the following announcement.
Two new beach parks in Daytona Beach Shores opened at sunrise Friday, March 18!
Edwin W. Peck Sr. Park at 3167 S. Atlantic Ave. features over 100 parking spaces, as well as restrooms, showers, bike racks, fitness stations and an ADA-accessible dune walkover. A grand opening event is on the horizon and will coincide with the delivery and installation of playground equipment.
Dahlia Avenue Park has been expanded and improved with 60 parking spaces and new facilities, including a family-style restroom building, showers, two pavilions, a bike rack, an ADA-accessible dune walkover and close proximity and great view of Sunglow Pier. A playground will be added soon. The park is located at 3625 S. Atlantic Ave.
Hours are sunrise to sunset. Both are Volusia County beach parks that will be maintained by the City of Daytona Beach Shores.
