The City of New Smyrna Beach has partnered with Nomi Health, a direct healthcare company coordinating COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts across the country, to provide free COVID-19 testing in the Jesse Stevenson Kovalenko Memorial Gymnasium at 1000 Live Oak St. Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The site offers antigen test results within one hour and PCR test results within 24 to 48 hours. The samples are processed in a CLIA-certified laboratory using FDA EUA-authorized test kits.
Individuals in need of a test are asked to bring an insurance card if they have one. If they do now have insurance, they will not be turned away. Appointments are not required, but you may register in advance by visiting www.nomihealth.com/fl and selecting your location.
