The City of Port Orange announces a partnership with a new platform, SeeClickFix, that will allow its citizens to report quality-of-life issues and request city services.
As part of the new features included with the city’s website announced on June 8, the existing Citizen Request Tracker has been replaced by SeeClickFix, which will provide enhanced mobile accessibility and internal efficiency for responding to citizen concerns. With the free SeeClickFix app and web tools, citizens will now be able to provide city staff with pictures, specific descriptions, and more that is needed to get the job done efficiently. In addition, the SeeClickFix platform provides the city with a centralized management system to manage concerns from creation to resolution — engaging citizens throughout the process.
“This partnership not only provides City of Port Orange citizens the opportunity to report concerns, but they can create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about all the issues reported in their community, enabling them to follow the progress of all service requests, not just the ones they report,” said Mayor Burnette. “With SeeClickFix, this platform will allow us to be more efficient and create a more transparent city government.”
The SeeClickFix mobile app is available for download on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seeclickfix.ma.android&hl=en_US&gl=US and iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/seeclickfix/id322000552. In addition to the mobile apps, information about SeeClickFix can be found on the homepage of the city’s website, www.port-orange.org.
