Flagler Avenue Parking District expansion, six variance requests on Aug. 1 Planning & Zoning agenda

The Planning & Zoning Board, made up of seven resident volunteers, will host their next meeting Monday, Aug. 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the James W. Hathaway Chambers to consider the following items:

  • Zoning text amendment adding 214 Columbus Ave. to the Flagler Avenue Parking District, which allows required parking to be provided off-site
  • Variance request from 107 N. Riverside Dr. to increase the number of permitted signs on their property to nine and place one on their front property line rather than at the required 5 ft. setback
  • Voluntary request to annex 0.27 acres on the west side of Bolton Road between Pine Island Drive and Live Oak Drive
  • Variance request from 2121 Hill St. to allow a 5 ft. rather than the maximum permitted 4 ft. fence east of the Coastal Construction Setback Line
  • Variance request from 3311 Hill St. to allow a new pool and deck 38 ft. 9 in. east of the Coastal Construction Setback Line
  • Variance request from 1517 Live Oak St. to allow a 6 ft. rather than the maximum permitted 4 ft. fence in a second front yard
  • Variance request from 2801 Glenwood Ave. to allow a 6 ft. rather than the maximum permitted 4 ft. fence along the southern front property line and extend north to the front setback line
  • Variance request from 905 Schoolway Ave. to allow a driveway 34.3% wider than the maximum permitted and on the property line rather than at the required 3 ft. setback
