A message from our City Manager Joseph Forte as it pertains to trash collection for the residents of Holly Hill:
Regular solid waste trash collection service for the City of Holly Hill will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 for those properties scheduled for collection. Collection hours have been modified to begin at 5:30 a.m. and will be complete by 5:00 p.m. This includes commercial collections.
Waste collection services regularly scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2022 and Friday, September 30, 2022 have been canceled.
Residents should not place waste receptacles or yard trash at the curb on these dates.
The Tomoka Farms Road Landfill and West Volusia Transfer Station will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 and resume normal operations on Saturday, October 1, 2022 weather permitting. The Tomoka Farms Road Landfill will be open on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
Trash and debris collection will resume on its regular schedule next week.
