The City of Daytona Beach is waiving building permit fees through Dec. 5 for work to repair or restore damage caused by Hurricane Ian. Waivers apply to commercial and residential properties within city limits.
It is the city’s intent to expedite all storm-related repair permits. Examples of permit types:
- A/C and water heater replacement
- Docks
- Electrical repairs and replacement
- Fences
- Roofing
- Screen enclosures
- Sheds
- Soffit/fascia/siding repair or replacement
- Window and door replacement
