City’s Planning Commission Vacancy

The City of Orange City is currently looking for individuals interested in serving on the City’s Planning Commission. Individuals appointed to this board serve in a volunteer capacity as the designated local planning agency. The Planning Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council regarding future land use amendments, re-zonings, conditional uses, and permit applications that impact the City. The commission has final authority to take action on variance applications. Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at 201 North Holly Avenue.
