Parking issues, Economic Development, Strategic Planning on Dec. 15 City Commission Agenda

New Smyrna Beach residents and merchants will have an opportunity to share their insights on Flagler Avenue and Canal Street parking issues and suggest potential solutions when the City Commission hosts its annual strategic planning workshop this Thursday, Dec. 15, starting at 9 a.m. in the James W. Hathaway Chambers at 214 Sams Ave. next to City Hall.

Other items on the agenda include a presentation on the Southeast Volusia Regional Economic Development Strategic Plan, updates on city capital improvement projects and its own Strategic Plan, and time for general discussion among city commissioners.

The floor will open for public participation shortly after the meeting begins. Please review the full 62-page agenda packet here.
