Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has recently signed 11 bills into law in a move aimed at addressing various issues in the state. The bills cover a range of topics from property seizures to education and public services. The signing ceremony took place in Tallahassee, the state capital.

Among the bills signed by Governor DeSantis are HB 5203, which deals with property seized by the Florida Gaming Control Commission, and HB 7043, which focuses on a review under the Open Government Sunset Review Act. Additionally, the governor signed CS/CS/HB 883, which pertains to the use of short-acting bronchodilators in public and private schools, and HB 523, which establishes the Florida Seal of Fine Arts Program.

Other bills signed by the governor include CS/CS/HB 217 concerning college campus facilities in areas of critical state concern, HB 801 which mandates Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia training for law enforcement and correctional officers, and CS/CS/HB 1491 related to public records.

Furthermore, Governor DeSantis signed SB 46, which focuses on the Reading Achievement Initiative for Scholastic Excellence Program, and SB 304 addressing household moving services. The governor also signed CS/SB 7008 and CS/SB 676, both of which involve a review under the Open Government Sunset Review Act and food delivery platforms, respectively.
