Governor DeSantis appoints Paul Applegarth to Florida Gulf Coast University Board

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Governor Ron DeSantis has announced the appointment of Paul Applegarth to the Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees. Applegarth currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Value Enhancement International. He is a veteran of the United States Army and was previously appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation by President George W. Bush. In addition, he served as a White House Fellow.

Applegarth holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Yale University and earned his master’s degree in business administration and juris doctor from Harvard University. The recent appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
