TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—Governor Ron DeSantis announced three appointments to Florida’s Judicial Nominating Commissions on May 21, 2024.
For the Sixth District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission, Tara Tedrow of Windermere has been appointed. Tedrow is a shareholder at Lowndes Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and a juris doctorate from the University of Florida. Her term will end on July 1, 2027.
Amy Bender of Pensacola has been appointed to the First Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Bender serves as senior counsel and assistant general counsel at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her juris doctorate from the University of Georgia. Her term will also conclude on July 1, 2027.
Adam Griffin of Tampa has been appointed to the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Griffin is an attorney at Lau, Lane, Pieper, Conley & McCreadie, P.A., with both his bachelor’s degree and juris doctorate obtained from the University of Florida. His term will end on July 1, 2026.
