DeSantis appoints two new members to Greater Orlando Aviation Authority

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Stephanie Kopelousos and Joe Nunziata to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority on May 22, 2024.

Stephanie Kopelousos is currently the District Administrator of the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District. Her previous roles include serving as the Director of Legislative & Intergovernment Affairs for the Executive Office of Governor Ron DeSantis, County Manager for Clay County Board of County Commissioners, and Secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation in 2007. Kopelousos holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Alabama.

Joe Nunziata is the Co-Chief Executive Officer of FBC Mortgage, LLC. He is active in his community, serving on the boards of the FBC Mortgage Charitable Foundation, Seminole and Orange County Sheriff Foundations, and Advent Hospital Foundation. Nunziata was named "Executive of the Year" by the Orlando Business Journal in 2015 and received his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of South Florida. In 2017, he was awarded Ernst & Young's “Entrepreneur of the Year.”

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
