Wrestling Announces Addition of Siwiec to Coaching Staff

Keiser head wrestling coach Nick Soto has added Michael Siwiec to his staff as an assistant coach.

“We are grateful to have coach Siwiec on staff,” said Coach Soto. “He has a great wrestling mind and knows what it takes to achieve at a high level. I have no doubts that he will have a big impact here.”

Siwiec comes to Keiser after spending one year as an assistant at Reinhardt and one year as an assistant at Belmont Abbey. He has coached four All-Americans and nine academic All-Americans. Siwiec graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Belmont Abbey before earning his master’s in sports administration from Reinhardt. As a wrestler, he was ranked over multiple seasons at Belmont Abbey as a heavyweight and made it to the Round of 12 at the United States World Team trial qualifier. A native of Toms River, New Jersey, Siwiec placed at the state championships multiple times earning him High School All-American status.

“I’m extremely excited for this upcoming season as a Seahawk!” said Siwiec. “There are great things happening on campus and in this program and I’m ready to get to work. Go Seahawks!”
