Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.
The Sunshine State Conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday, and Jaden McBride earned the nod as the league's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week presented by Jimmy John's for the first time this season and in her career.
McBride, a freshman from St. Johns, led the Eagles with 72 kills and 81.5 points as ERAU went 4-0 at the Flagler Saints Classic. She also totaled 40 digs, eight blocks (three solo), four service aces, and four assists at the tournament. McBride set career-highs in kills (26) and digs (19) in a five-set win over Lindenwood on Friday and also recorded a double-double with 17 kills and 12 digs in a 3-1 victory over Flagler.
