The Embry-Riddle women's golf trio of Kelly Harris, Brigitte Clements, and Marybeth McGuire have been named 2021-22 All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). Those three claimed the WGCA's highest academic honor, bringing the Blue and Gold's all-time All-American Scholar awardees to 15 since joining the NCAA.
Recognized as having one of the highest standards for selection to these teams in college athletics, the WGCA All-American Scholar Golf Teams, the criteria for selection is to have an overall grade point average of 3.50 or higher (on a 4.00 scale) for the entirety of their collegiate career and compete in at least 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds.
Harris and McGuire earned the distinction for the third consecutive season, becoming the first Eagles to claim three All-American Scholar honors in program history. For Clements, she earns the accolade for the second time, having done so previously following the 2019-20 season.
