No. 6 women's soccer cruised to another shutout victory on Monday, downing No. 17 Reinhardt, 2-0 at Memorial Field in Savannah, Ga. The only two goals of the game came just over two minutes apart and both off the right foot of Lauren Riley.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • In the 31st minute, Georgia Little would find Lauren Riley who would have her first shot blocked before getting it back and finding the left side of the net for the first goal of the game.
  • Just two minutes later, Little and Riley would connect again with Riley firing a volley into the upper left corner of the net to double the Seahawks' advantage with 12 minutes left in the half.
  • The Seahawks would continue to attack, putting up 19 total shots in the first half and holding their opponents to zero.
  • Reinhardt would come out of the halftime break with a similar defensive look shown in the first half, dropping defenders to try and counter the KU offense.
  • Keiser would fire shot after shot, but not see many clear chances in front of the net, still maintaining the 2-0 advantage.
  • Both teams would go scoreless through the final 45 minutes with the Eagles managing just one shot on target to the Seahawks' 16.
