On Monday, March 24, former DME Academy standout Sydney Shaw’s current collegiate team the West Virginia Mountaineers lost 58-47 against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the North Carolina Tar Heels during the championship.

Sydney Shaw’s hometown is Miami and game position is guard.
