DME Academy standout Sydney Shaw’s collegiate team won game in NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament on Saturday, March 22

On Saturday, March 22, former DME Academy standout Sydney Shaw’s current collegiate team the West Virginia Mountaineers won 78-59 against the Columbia Lions in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the Columbia Lions during the championship.

The West Virginia Mountaineers’ next game will take place on Monday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Carmichael Arena against North Carolina Tar Heels.

Sydney Shaw’s hometown is Miami and game position is guard.
